Adobe Premiere

Adobe Premiere, long known as Premiere Pro, is Adobe's video editing software for desktop. Editors import footage in most camera and delivery formats, assemble it on a multitrack timeline, and add transitions, titles, color correction and audio mixing before exporting for the web, broadcast or cinema. Recent versions add AI-assisted features such as text-based editing from automatic transcripts, automatic captions, speech cleanup and generative clip extension. The application works closely with other Creative Cloud tools, including After Effects, Photoshop, Audition and Frame.io for review. It is used by film and television editors, video production teams, marketing departments and independent content creators.
