Matomo

Matomo measures the traffic and behaviour of visitors on websites and apps while leaving the data in the hands of the site owner. It reports on visits, sources, campaigns, goals, ecommerce and conversion funnels, and includes a tag manager, heatmaps, session recordings and A/B testing as additional features. Data is not sampled and not shared with a third party, and the tool can be configured to run without a cookie consent banner in several countries. Matomo On-Premise is installed on the organisation's own servers, and Matomo Cloud is the hosted version. It is used by companies, public bodies and universities that have privacy or data sovereignty requirements.
