Amazon Web Services (AWS)

AWS rents out computing infrastructure over the internet. Companies run their applications and store their data in Amazon's data centres instead of their own, and pay for what they use. Its services cover compute, with virtual servers (EC2), containers and serverless functions, object storage and backups (S3), managed relational and NoSQL databases, and access to foundation models through Amazon Bedrock, across regions on every continent. It is used by software teams from startups to large enterprises and public bodies.
