Microsoft Dragon Copilot

Microsoft Dragon Copilot is an AI assistant for clinicians that reduces the time spent on documentation and administrative tasks. It combines the speech recognition of Dragon Medical One with the ambient listening technology of DAX Copilot, both originating from Nuance, which Microsoft acquired. The assistant records patient conversations with consent and drafts clinical notes, lets clinicians dictate and edit text by voice, generates referral letters and after-visit summaries, and answers medical questions from trusted sources. It integrates with electronic health record systems so that notes and orders flow into the patient chart. It is used by physicians, nurses and other care teams in hospitals and clinics.
