Workday provides cloud applications that large organizations use to run human resources and finance. Human Capital Management holds employee records and covers payroll, absence, recruiting, talent and workforce planning, while Financial Management handles accounting, procurement and reporting. Adaptive Planning adds budgeting and forecasting that can also run on data from another ERP. Around this core, Peakon Employee Voice collects continuous employee feedback, Paradox automates candidate conversations in recruiting, the Vendor Management System tracks contingent workers, and Extend lets customers build their own apps on the platform. Workday is used mainly by enterprises, universities and public bodies with complex structures across several countries.
