Brex is an American fintech that gives companies one system to control what employees spend. It issues corporate cards with limits and policies set in advance, so that rules are applied at the moment of purchase. Receipts are collected and matched automatically, expenses are categorised and synced to the accounting system or ERP, and approvals follow configurable workflows. The platform also covers supplier invoices with bill pay, business travel booking, and a business account for holding cash and making payments worldwide. Finance teams follow budgets and spending in real time across entities and currencies. It began with venture-backed startups and is now also used by larger companies with international operations.
