# Note-Taking Apps

Tools for taking and organizing personal notes.

## Tools in this category

Ranked by verified rating first among the 2 tools with at least 5 published reviews, then by the number of teams using the tool. A tool with fewer than 5 reviews is listed after those, ranked by adoption instead, never allowed to outrank a well-reviewed tool on the strength of a thin average. Fewer than 10 tools in this category currently clear that floor, so treat this as an early signal, not a mature ranking. Ratings come from professionals who verified a work email at the organization named in their review. Among the 9 vendor tools Soft Atlas tracks in this category, an entry marked "not yet rated on Soft Atlas" has no published review yet, it is listed, not scored as zero.
