Ciel is a long-standing French brand of management software for very small businesses, freelancers and tradespeople, owned by Sage. Its former product range now lives on under Sage names. Sage 50 Compta handles bookkeeping, Sage 50 Gestion Commerciale covers quotes, invoices, sales and stock, Sage 50 Gestion d'entreprise combines both, and Sage 50 Liasse Fiscale prepares tax filings. Sage Batigest Connect is aimed at construction trades, with estimates and job tracking, and Sage Business Cloud Paie manages payslips and payroll declarations. The offer also addresses the move to electronic invoicing in France. It is used by small companies and their accountants.
