AI code editor for developers: autocomplete, chat on your codebase and agents that write and edit code across files.

About Cursor

Cursor is a code editor built around AI models, developed by Anysphere and based on Visual Studio Code. Developers get multi-line autocomplete as they type, can ask questions about their whole codebase, and can hand a task to an agent that plans the change, edits several files and runs commands, with each edit shown as a diff to accept or reject. Agents can also run in the cloud in the background, from the command line, or be triggered from tools such as Slack. Teams choose which underlying model to use and set shared rules for the project. It is used by individual developers and engineering teams, from startups to large companies.
