Eventbrite

Eventbrite is an online platform for creating events and selling tickets to them. An organiser sets up an event page, defines ticket types and prices, and collects registrations and payments without a developer or a ticketing contract. The platform provides promotion tools such as email campaigns and paid ads, check-in by mobile app on the day, and reports on sales and attendance. On the other side, the public browses a marketplace of events by city, date and interest. Publishing free events costs nothing, and fees apply to paid tickets. It is used by independent organisers, venues, associations and companies for concerts, festivals, classes, conferences and community gatherings.
