Runway is an applied AI research company that builds generative video models and general world models, then sells products on top of them. Runway Creative is a cloud workspace where individuals and teams generate and edit video, images and audio from text, images or footage, with an agent and reusable workflows. Runway Dev gives developers API access to Runway models and models from other labs for production use at scale. Runway Robotics uses its world model for policy inference, offline evaluation and synthetic data generation in photorealistic simulation. The company recently added Runway Ads, which generates and iterates paid social ad creative. Its customers range from independent creators to film studios, agencies and large enterprises.
