Weenat

Weenat is a French agricultural weather data company based in Nantes. It manufactures connected sensors such as weather stations, rain gauges and soil moisture probes, and gathers their measurements with weather models in a mobile and web application. Farmers use the app to steer irrigation, anticipate frost, time crop protection treatments and follow forecasts and history for each plot, with alerts and decision-support tools. A virtual weather station gives plot-level data without hardware. For cooperatives, agri-food companies, insurers and other weather-sensitive sectors, Weenat sells a weather API, historical datasets, climate projections and territory-scale soil and weather mapping.
