The flip side is that it can sometimes feel a bit too simple, especially when it comes to design options, which are limited. I occasionally run into a few bugs, mainly around permissions or when copying and pasting objects. Overall, though, it fits very well into our stack, notably through its Notion integration, which makes cross-team collaboration smoother. ### 4/5 Frequent user, marketing advertising, 10-50 employees > Whimsical is a great platform for mapping out processes, clarifying your thinking, and laying out complex (or simple) structures through diagrams. It offers a wide range of features that let you create pretty much anything you want, sharing is easy, and the whole experience is quite interactive. The only downside is that the platform has become noticeably more complex lately, so it's less intuitive than it used to be, at least when you just want to put together a diagram quickly. ### 4.5/5 Administrator, marketing advertising, 10-50 employees > Whimsical is my go-to for flowcharts and process maps. It's fast and intuitive: I can sketch out a workflow in minutes without fighting the tool, and the result looks clean and professional by default, which makes it easy to share with stakeholders. The main limitation is customization. Styling and layout options are fairly restricted if you want more control over how diagrams look. For quickly turning a process into something clear and readable, though, it's hard to beat. ### 5/5 Occasional user, software, 10-50 employees > Easy to use to showcase what you have in mind ;) ### 5/5 Expert administrator, software, Under 10 employees > One of the first customers, and happy until now. > I hope the tool stay forever that easy to use. **Liked:** > - Simplicité > - Expérience ### 4.5/5 Occasional user, consumer services, 100-300 employees > I absolutely love Whimsical. It's my go-to tool for documenting and visualizing processes, making complex ideas easy to communicate. I also use it often to brainstorm projects with my colleagues (especially in Product and Marketing teams). ## Known clients Amazon, AssoConnect, Exod - Your personal leisurer, Flatsy, Iad Location & Gestion, Intercom, Klaviyo, macartevacances, Mercado Libre, Murfy, and 9 other organizations ## Alternatives on Soft Atlas The closest alternatives to Whimsical on Soft Atlas are [Lucid](/lucid.md), [Miro](/miro.md), [Figma](/figma.md), [Excalidraw](/excalidraw.md), [Stormboard](/stormboard.md) and [Collaboard](/collaboard.md).
