Microsoft Copilot

Microsoft Copilot is Microsoft's AI assistant, available as a standalone chat on the web, in Windows and on mobile, and built into the Microsoft 365 applications. In chat, it answers questions, searches the web, writes and summarises text and generates images. In Microsoft 365, it works inside Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams to draft documents, analyse spreadsheets, build slides, summarise email threads and recap meetings, drawing on the files, messages and calendars the user is allowed to access in the company tenant. It is used by individuals for everyday tasks and by organisations that roll it out to employees already working in Microsoft 365.
