Sentry tells developers when their application breaks in production and gives them the context needed to fix it. An SDK added to the code reports every error with its stack trace, the release that introduced it, the affected users and the events that preceded it. Similar errors are grouped into issues that can be assigned and linked to GitHub, Slack or Jira. The platform also covers performance tracing, profiling, logs and session replay, so a slow page can be traced back to a specific query or function. Seer, its AI debugging agent, proposes a root cause and a code fix. It is used by web, mobile and backend engineering teams.

Sentry is a revolution for me. Before, I only learned about a bug when I was testing myself or when a user took the time to tell me, which means most of them went unnoticed. Now every error that happens in production shows up in Sentry, with the exact page, the browser and the line of code involved. In the first days I discovered errors I had never heard of, on flows I thought were working. As a co-founder who is not a an engineer it really helps me.
