Metabase lets anyone in a company explore data and build dashboards without writing SQL. Users ask questions by pointing and clicking in a query builder, then combine the results into dashboards with filters and scheduled reports. Analysts keep a full SQL editor when they want more control, and dashboards can be embedded inside another product. It is open source and can be self-hosted, or run in Metabase Cloud. It is used by startups and data teams that want business intelligence the whole company can use.
