Smartsheet is a work management platform whose core object is a sheet that looks like a spreadsheet, familiar to anyone who has planned work in Excel. Rows hold tasks with owners, dates and dependencies, and the same data can be shown as a grid, Gantt chart, board or calendar. Forms capture requests, automated workflows send reminders and approvals, and dashboards and reports roll up data from many sheets for portfolio views. AI features help write formulas and summarize information. It is used by project management offices, operations, IT and marketing teams, often in large organizations.
