Zendesk centralises customer requests coming from email, chat, phone and social channels. Agents handle them as tickets in one workspace, a help center offers a knowledge base for self-service, and AI agents resolve the simplest requests while Copilot assists the human agents. The platform also covers voice support with a contact centre, and workforce management and quality assurance to plan staffing and review conversations. It is used by the support teams of companies of every size, and by internal teams such as IT and HR for employee requests.

A solid customer support provider for growing teams
My experience with Zendesk is limited to Zendesk Customer Service, so I can't speak to the rest of their product suite. However, based on that product alone, my experience has been very positive. We implemented Zendesk at Murfy as our customer support team grew beyond five people. Before that, we were using Front, which worked well for a smaller team but became more limiting as our support operations scaled. Zendesk gave us a more structured ticketing system, better workflows, and the tools we needed to handle a larger volume of customer requests efficiently. While there is a bit of a learning curve due to the richness of the platform, it has proven to be a reliable solution for scaling customer support operations.

CRM for medium companies. Easy to set up. Becomes limited once you grow in tiers, markets, or +30 people team.

Not a big team on our end > solution is not a fit > hard to set-up > automation possibilities are limited
