Microsoft SharePoint

Microsoft SharePoint is the content and intranet layer of Microsoft 365. Organisations use it to create sites where teams store, organise and share documents in libraries, with version history, permissions and simultaneous editing in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Communication sites serve as intranet pages for news and company information, and lists hold structured data that can feed simple workflows through Power Automate. Files shared in Microsoft Teams are stored in SharePoint. It is available as SharePoint Online or as a server installed on premises, and is used by companies and public bodies of all sizes.
