About Confluence

Confluence is the team workspace from Atlassian where companies write down and organize what they know. Content lives in pages grouped into spaces, with a page tree, search, templates for common documents such as meeting notes, product requirements and runbooks, and version history. Several people can edit a page at the same time, comment inline and mention colleagues, and whiteboards and databases sit next to regular pages. It connects closely with Jira, so specifications and project documentation link to the issues they describe. It is used by product, engineering and IT teams as an internal wiki, and more widely as a company knowledge base.
