HubSpot has been my sales backbone for almost 10 years. I find it powerful, comprehensive, and easy to use (simplicity is actually my most important criterion when evaluating any tool).

HubSpot earns its reputation as one of the easiest CRMs to actually get a team using. The interface stays clean even as you stack on more modules, and new hires get productive fast without a long onboarding curve. Workflows are where it really pays off. You can build genuinely complex automation (lead scoring, lifecycle stage changes, multi-branch nurture sequences) without touching code, and the logic stays visible and easy to debug. Few CRMs at this price point match that combination of power and clarity. HubSpot is also moving fast on agentic setup. Their AI agents for content generation, prospecting, and customer service configuration are ahead of most competitors in this category, and the direction is clearly toward more autonomous, less manual configuration over time. The gap is data enrichment. Native enrichment still feels thin next to dedicated tools like Clearbit or ZoomInfo, and teams with any real reliance on firmographic or intent data end up bolting on a third-party integration anyway. It's the one area where HubSpot hasn't quite caught up to the rest of the platform. Solid platform, and if enrichment closes the gap, this becomes a 5. And, yes, it's expensive.

Excellent tool to centralize and run marketing automation and CRM, with solid integrations across most B2B tools. A few gripes: it's hard to drive from an AI agent — I can't bulk-update workflows or run my automation from Claude, unlike newer AI-native tools like Aktio (or Vercel, in another category). And while AI now shows up in a lot of places across the product, I've yet to feel a real automation or time-saving payoff (maybe I'm just not using it right). It's also pricey overall, and once you're in, switching is costly!
