Pros
- Thread advanced features enable real async work that facilitates multi-tasking, context switching and work organization.
- Multiple integrations and automations that allow you to work 90% of the time from a single place.
Cons
- Bookmarks are a bit confusing, allowing a better classification by folder could help

Why did you choose Slack?
Very well fitted for our Tech-savvy company with lot of parallel projects and async communication, friendly interface, well integrated with the rest of our stack
The rollout
I was not there back then but I did not hear from any difficulties ; there was a grey zone for a while between what was supposed to go through Slack and what remained in Google Hangouts but we decided to deprecate Hangouts for more clarity.
